Spirits Craft

A little Gaeilge tip: An Mhorrígan & An Chailleach. Not to sound pretentious, but I am learning my Gaeilge so I thought I would pass on that little bit. The An softens certain consonants (and not others) of the noun that follows it when the nouns are feminine (and in other situations). Anyways, carry on, its not that important.

nefaeria:

The books about An Morrígan & An Cailleach have been put on my to-read list. :)

Fuck yeah to both websites and most of the book suggestions, although I have not read Brida {other writings by Paulo Coelho I have not been to impressed with, but that is just my opinion of course}. The Guises of the Morrigan sounds interesting! :)

spiritscraft:

There are not many books about Gaelic and Brythonic Traditional Witchcraft. However, there are a few resources. Again, I am only listing books that are reasonably priced.

Fairy Faith in the Celtic Countries by WY Evans-Wentz

Irish Witchcraft for the Irish Witch by Lora O’Brien

A Cornish Book of…

Brida is written in a similar style to The Alchemist, but its about witchery. Won’t be everyone’s cuppa, but its cheap in paperback like the rest of these books and the author has also released most of his books free online. Some of the other books I listed are also free or sometimes free, like the Morrigan and Callieach books are occassionally free on Kindle, I post a link when they are. Fairy Faith in Celtic countries is free online too.
